WM PHOENIX OPEN PRE QUALIFIER #3 January 31, 2024

This year I tried to qualify for the WMPO at Western Skies in Gilbert, AZ. The difference between this year and last year I wasn’t nervous at all. What I did experience was a TON of adrenaline. First 6 holes it felt like I had just drank 6 shots of espresso. What I realized after the round was instead of fighting it, I should have used it to my advantage. The front nine I shot a +1 35, I knew going into the back nine I had to go crazy low. The positive thing I took away from this round was I stayed in it no matter what. The back nine I shot a -3 34. Total I shot -2 69. Going into the event I knew it was going to take a low one to qualify, but happy I just bounced back and shot an under par round in a tournament.
